This week we’ve been camping for free on Senator Highway in Prescott, AZ.
We met Shannon and Dave this past February when we were camping at Catalina State Park in Tucson. We didn’t get to spend a lot of time together then, so I’m glad our paths have crossed again and we’ve been able to hang out a few times this week.
My favorite thing about meeting people on the road, is reconnecting again. There’s something about spending time in different locations that creates lasting memories and builds friendships.
For the next six months, John is taking a hiatus from bartending and is traveling the west with his super sweet dog Tess.
It’s been 6 days since I last blogged which is probably a record for me. It’s mostly because I’m holed up in the Airstream working while Brian is out shooting campgrounds.
Dispersed camping, dry camping and boondocking. These are words people use interchangeably though some would argue have very different meanings.
I wasn’t going to post today, but have to share dinner last night because it was so good. Oh, and pictured above is the forest we’re camping in this week.
