We’ve done it twice now. As of today, we’ve lived in 2 different Airstreams for 655 days each.
Pictured above is our old 1963 Flying Cloud the morning after our second night boondocking ever.
I was really surprised when I realized that we’ve been in this trailer the same amount of time as the old one. It really doesn’t feel the same at all. I guess that shows you what five more feet and a separate shower will do. The old Airstream had a wet bath, so we took most of our showers in campgrounds and in the end I just couldn’t take it anymore.
This time around, we’re going strong. We still need to get our work area to be a bit more ergonomic, but otherwise no complaints.
Dinner Last Night:
Creamy Vegan Ranch Chickpea + Peach Farm Salad. Peanuts + Lime. This was awesome. I cooked a cup of dry chickpeas (so much better than canned), and added celery and carrots based on her suggestions. I also had both a peach and a nectarine on hand because neither seemed very ripe when I bought them. I ended up using the nectarine. This was a really good salad, we’ll definitely have it again.
