R&B Events

Yesterday toward the end of our work day, the organizers of Alumafiesta stopped by for a visit. I guess if we’re not going to any events, they figured they’d have to come to us. Kidding. Brett and Rich were looking for a place to take a break before happy hour started and we (plus Curtis) were happy to host.

Dinner Last Night:
I didn’t really have a recipe planned. I had broccoli and rice noodles on board, so first I boiled the broccoli for 2 minutes (so it still has anti-cancer powers) then ran off to take photos of David & Mary (more on that tomorrow). After that, we came home and cooked rice noodles and tossed them with the broccoli, matchstick-cut carrots, rice vinegar, sesame oil and mirin. It was just ok. Could have used chopped peanuts, green onions, chili garlic sauce and maybe a little less vinegar.

Hi Terrie! Curtie is on prescription dog food and Brett is giving him a little bit of kibble as a treat. We have to stick to that (unless it’s his birthday then he gets eggs and rice!).
