17 Palms Oasis

Yesterday we took a drive over to the 17 Palms Oasis. I didn’t count them, but I’m assuming there’s 17 palm trees here. There’s a topless palm on the far right of the photo, I wonder if it’s dying.

Tim and Amanda had been here before, so they made sure we saw the mailbox that has some notebooks for signing in.

Brian and I had fun playing with the palm fronds. I think he makes a cute roadrunner.

  3. A couple of years ago we were staying at Anza Borrego State park when we had 60 mph winds. Blew the top off one of the palm trees…maybe that’s what happened to the topless palm in your photo…
