Camouflaged Containers

January 8, 2013  |  blog

Brian has made friends with another dispersed camper guy here named John. John told Brian that there are camouflaged RV’s or storage containers a little ways from our campsite. So yesterday after work as the sun was going down we decided to try and find them. The entire hike over we’d think we’d see them, then we’d lose them, then we’d think we see them. You can see them in the picture above, but you can imagine at dusk how your eyes would play tricks on you.

At first we thought we stumbled on a real life “Breaking Bad” meth lab in the desert, but up close it looked like an empty office and a storage container. Still pretty mysterious.

Phineas came along for the walk, and Curtie stayed home because he was tired from a short bit of play time before we left. The two are in the “I’m ignoring you” stage, but I’m hoping by the end of the week I might get a photo of the two together.

  1. Very mysterious…
    and a beautiful sky!

  2. these strange structures in the middle of nowhere were explained very clearly in numerous episodes of “X-Files.” Dangerous stuff, be VERY careful!

  3. sure looks like Breaking Bad to me….did the Curtis and Phineas met up?
