Daley Ranch

Yesterday we went for a hike at Daley Ranch in Escondido. The parking lot was so crowded that we almost didn’t go. From the parking area there is a main road called Ranch House which is pretty wide so we were able to keep Curtis to one side to avoid the other dogs. We then turned off on to Middle Pond which was pretty narrow and we ran into a bunch of dogs and mountain bikers. From there we took East Ridge which had less traffic because it’s pretty steep to the nature trail at Dixon Lake where we we on our own. Overall it was enjoyable even with the aftermath of my sinus cold.
