Desert Yoga

January 24, 2013  |  blog

Cassie hosted morning yoga in front of her RV (aka The Fun Finder)! You can see we’re looking at a little TV on the side of her rig. The night before the guys were all gung-ho to join in, but for some reason none of them showed up for class.

Dinner Last Night:
Tamale Shepherd’s Pie. I split this recipe in half because it looked enormous, and even then it still made a ton of food. I substituted a jalapeno for the poblano, and used a little less hot sauce than the recipe suggested figuring we’d adjust the heat while eating it. It was delicious, though my ratio of mashed potatoes to stew might have been a little off. Less potatoes would have been better.

2013 Cost of Camping:
5 nights paid camping
18 nights free camping
Total spent on camping this year: $175.04
Daily average cost of camping: $7.61

  1. What a great space for a yoga class!

  2. love the photo….

  3. Nice to see some Snowbirds travelling in smaller RV. Seems most of the folks I read about are living in something longer than 30 feet, costing hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Might you share the experiences of some of these folks?

  4. where are the dudes? too cool for yoga? ;)
