Dinner At Cheryl’s

February 17, 2013  |  blog

Yesterday we woke up early and drove from Wickenburg to Las Vegas. We arrived at Red Rock Campground at 11:30am and had lunch and a nap. After our nap I got a haircut (I’ve got to keep it stylish in the trailer) and then we went to dinner at our friend Cheryl’s house. Cheryl prepared a delicious dinner of salmon, mashed cauliflower, brussels sprouts and mushrooms.

Cheryl’s house is located one exit away from Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. The campground is usually $15 per night, but it was half off for us because we have a National Parks Access Pass.

2013 Cost of Camping:
14 nights paid camping
33 nights free camping
Total spent on camping this year: $407.75
Daily average cost of camping: $8.68
