Thank you for all the kind words yesterday.
I’ve always used the blog as a way to share with friends and family and to keep our memories from fading. Obviously this isn’t a private forum and I really enjoy the relationships that we’ve developed as a result of it.
When I first started blogging, it was primarily photos with a caption. Only recently have I been writing more.
Yesterday I had the above photo scheduled to post with a paragraph about the weather, our cell reception, and some truly insignificant details about what we ate for dinner and how much we’re saving by boondocking.
When I woke up to the news of my Grandpa’s passing I was glad that I didn’t have the blog on auto-publish, but I also wasn’t prepared to write about him.
It feels weird switching back to our regularly scheduled programming just a day later. So I deleted that post. I can give you the summary. It’s been windy. Cell service is great, and obviously we still have to eat so I’ll post links at the end.
My heart is heavy. I know time will heal that. I appreciate you all so much.
