Burbank Boondocking 3

April 27, 2013  |  camping

burbank-parking-permitI wasn’t going to post a picture of our location this weekend, since I’ve already done a few posts on Burbank Boondocking. However, Rich asked for a photo and since I didn’t have my memory card last night when we were hanging out with friends, here it is.

It’s perfectly legal. You can get a permit instantly by applying for a Burbank Large Non-Commercial Vehicle (LNCV) Parking Permit. It costs $5 for 3 days.

The street we stay on has houses on one side of the street. Brian is quite the ambassador and has met a few of the neighbors who told him that they LOVE walking out the door and seeing our trailer. Well, I hate to disappoint, but we’re leaving the neighborhood today and are starting the slow crawl north for the summer.

2013 Cost of Camping:
18 nights paid camping
98 nights free camping
Total spent on camping this year: $500.75
Daily average cost of camping: $4.32

  2. Ah, thanks. I’ll file this under “Suburb-oondocking”…

  3. What if the rig didn’t look as great as yours?? Cannot imagine this neighborhood would allow just any rig to join the neighborhood….looks great…great price….
