Dharma Tower

This week we’re at our boondocking spot in the Mojave National Preserve. We’ve named our spot Dharma Tower after the Dharma Initiative from the TV show Lost.

There’s something creepy about this spot, but we return to it because we like the isolation, the landscape is beautiful and we have both 4G AT&T and Verizon.

Dinner Last Night:
With temperatures dipping as low as 24 degrees at night, I have to conserve power a little and not use the immersion blender after dark. Well, all of my recipes this week need the blender and I didn’t think about it yesterday during the day. So last night we had a big kale salad with Israeli couscous, cherry tomatoes, black olives, artichoke hearts, orange bell pepper, celery and pine nuts dressed with a little lemon juice and olive oil.
