Half Moon Bay State Beach

October 26, 2012  |  California

On Wednesday we towed about 45 minutes from Candlestick Park RV Park to Half Moon Bay State Beach. There aren’t any hookups here, it’s totally dry camping. The rates range from $35 a night to $50 a night. $50 a night will get you an “ocean view” spot, though the dunes are kind of in the way of the ocean. We’re in a $35/night spot and have what real estate agents like to call a “peek a boo” view. Anyway, the campground is quite nice minus the sound of neighbors running their generators.
