Joshua Tree North

December 16, 2013  |  California

Last time we camped at what we call Joshua Tree North (the boondocking spot right outside of J-Tree), we said we would never come back. It can be pretty dusty and dirty here.

Well, we’re back because it puts us in a good location for our next move, which is near Brian’s Brother’s house for Christmas day. So here we are.

Dinner Last Night:
Dinner was AWESOME last night. I was in the mood for a Quinoa Chile, so I googled it and then compared a few recipes. I ended up picking this one from DamnDelicious.net. I didn’t change a thing and we’re happy to have tons of left-overs.

2013 Cost of Camping:
117 nights paid camping
232 nights free camping
349 days this year
Total spent on camping this year: $3,201.29
Daily average cost of camping: $9.17
