UPDATED: 10/13 8:00AM – Just south of San Francsico, in Pacifica is the San Francisco RV Resort. The spots are a little too tight for our taste, but it’s the only option that’s close to the city. The cost per night is a bit higher than what we usually pay, but the ocean view from our dinette is worth it. Unfortunately we didn’t see the sun AND were flanked by motor homes on either side until our last day.
$219.74 for 4 nights with the Good Sam Club discount.

UPDATED: 10/13 8:00AM – Last night the staff here added this red tape blocking off an area where the cliff was undermined, meaning there isn’t any rock or dirt under those spots supporting the asphalt! All the other spots have a walking path between the asphalt and the edge of the cliff – here the walking path has crumbled away. See close up pic.

The erosion was a bit disconcerting when we were there. Don’t know how much longer it may be there.
You should come to my deer camp. No white lines, no blacktop, no neighbors. Just oak trees, cactus, deer, turkey, spectacular sunrise and sunset. Monarch butterfly migration, dove, skunks, wind turbines, springs, 6000 acres of a slice of heaven. The cost $00000.
YES!!! We’d love to!
In an utterly random bit of timing, you came up in conversation this morning so I had a look at your fb, which led me here, and good lord…you’re in my yay area! If you’re in SF at all this weekend, let me know. Perhaps we can catch a drink & a hello.
Otherwise, I hope you’re doing very well indeed.
wow…Diane’s deer camp sounds great…..
