Dog Friends

January 15, 2013  |  curtis

We introduced Curtis to Phineas early last week. As expected Curtis wasn’t very interested and there was a tiny scuffle over some butt sniffing. They’ve seen each other every day now for a week, and even took a walk off leash together. This past weekend when Curtis saw Phin come out of his trailer, the two went bounding toward each other with some excitement.

What was really impressive, is how they play ball together. Phineas is a really good boy and doesn’t compete too much for the ball. Though it’s pretty funny when Curtis would return and drop it, Phin would snatch it up and give it a good chewing while C would watch patiently waiting for the next throw.

  4. Leigh, I love this post. As dog owner myself, I think those two making buddies is just fabulous. Very glad to hear Curtis and Phineas made it past the initial butt sniffing squabbles; they do make a great pair. _dave
