We’re so lucky our friend Mike cooks for us every time we’re in town. Last night we started with the Thomas Keller Bibb Lettuce Salad, which may look like just a regular plate of lettuce, but is something to be tried – it was fantastic.
For dinner Mike made sauteed cape scallops over sunchoke puree with a chipotle beurre blanc and black beluga lentils. Also fantastic.
I brought dessert. Bittersweet Chocolate and Cashew Cookie Brittle, like Mike’s beurre blanc sauce it has TONS of butter, but is really easy to make.
