There are two shifts at the Airstream factory. A day shift and a night shift is necessary to fulfill 80 Airstream’s per week. It’s not very quiet when the factory is in operation, so I was really happy when their work week ended mid-day Friday.
We were curious to see the factory workers in action, but when we found out it would be quiet on Friday, and would have an easier time hearing the tour, we opted for the Friday afternoon tour. Next time, I think we’ll put in our earplugs and see what we missed.
Friday was also an entire day of music. Pictured is the highly entertaining Antsy McClain.
Dinner At Some Point This Week:
Hummus Pasta Salad. I mixed left-over bowtie pasta with hummus, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers and some red onion. It was really easy to make and good for prepping ahead of time.
2016 Cost of Camping:
26 nights free camping
130 nights paid camping (thru 6/5)
156 days this year
Total spent on camping this year: $3806.94
Daily average cost of camping: $24.40

Glad you made it to Alumapalooza. We have followed you for a long time. We weren’t formally introduced but did wave, smaile, and pass a few times. Being a dirty orange who had a sinus infection and also had to take care of a jr dirty orange didn’t leave much time for anything! Looks like you enjoyed your time tho!! Next time drinks!
Aw I wish you had introduced yourself! Were you with the cute baby in the orange onesie? What a bummer that you were sick. Hopefully we’ll cross paths down the road, and yes, next time happy hour!
Yep. Cute baby in orange or flamingos all week is ours. 🙂
