Hanging With The Haywoods

My favorite thing about meeting people on the road, is reconnecting again. There’s something about spending time in different locations that creates lasting memories and builds friendships.

Yesterday we were joined by Shawn and Chris. We met them back in November at Lake Mead where we braved a sandstorm that was so crazy Chris had to help us take down our flagpole while I had an attack of the giggles. I really wish I had a photo of that.

little-girlWhen I first met their dog Little Girl, she didn’t really like me. She showed her contempt by barking and growling. Now that we’re together again, she’s had a change of heart and wants to hang out in my lap.

Dinner Last Night:
We had a pot-luck. I brought curried noodles and Shawn made delicious shrimp spring rolls.

Now THAT is a Trailer Life photo. Have you submitted it? If not, maybe you should. Along with a “Reconnecting” article. I’ll be your literary agent, books, movies, personal appearances, speaking engagements. 🙂
