Brenda & Sterling

We met Brenda and Sterling this weekend while we were at Timberlake Campground. They have a 2010 16Ft Bambi and this was their 5th outing with it. They’re both former veterinarians and are now running Brenda’s family cherry orchard. Link: Orchard View Farms

Friday night we all went out the the 130 Bar and Grill in Stevenson. Brian and I had the Halibut Fish and Chips and it was delicious!

Sterling and I also tried the “Knuckle Dragger” American Pale Ale from Walking Man Brewing which is made in Stevenson. The beer was pretty good – I agree with the guys who gave it a B on the Beer Advocate reviews. If we go out again I’d like to try their IPA or Scotch Ale.

We enjoyed meeting both of you and Curtis too. Our night out was a real treat. Please look us up next time you are in the area. Sterling is exhausted, getting up early the next day to participate in the “Race for the Cure”. The team he was on raised the second most amount of money. P.S. I enjoyed the Maryhill Pinot Gris at dinner.
