Last night we had plans to meet up with Dicky Riegel from Airstream 2 Go for a drink. We had no idea that the night would end with some dancing on the ceiling.
This weekend in downtown Las Vegas, the Life is Beautiful Festival was happening. It’s a 3 day event with music, food and art, and Airstream 2 Go was a sponsor.
We met at Atomic Liquors. Dicky brought along Kristiana who we befriended earlier this year. After we spent some time chatting, Kristiana pulls out some staff bracelets that would get us into the festival.
We picked up some Indian food at one of the stands and brought it to one of the Airstreams that was strategically placed in the Festival.
After dinner we walked over to the VIP area by the main stage to watch Lionel Richie! The evening was so unexpected and SO much fun.
If you’re thinking about buying an Airstream, but want to try it out first, you can rent one from Airstream 2 Go (the only factory authorized rental company in North America) and get $1,000 off the purchase price of a new Airstream. Tell them Aluminarium sent you!

Totally envious!
Sounds like a wonderful time especially since it was unexpected:)
My hair is on fire. Is Lionel still alive?
Jim
Lionel was FANTASTIC – very alive!
Sounds like you guys had a great time!
It was a blast to meet Leigh and Brian and to enjoy all the beautiful things at Life Is Beautiful 2014. We all bleed silver! Indeed the entire experience was outstanding fun, and pretty unexpected! Not only is Lionel Richie alive, but he was one of the highlights of a festival filled with beautiful things. You just can’t imagine that you’re at a Lionel Richie show, and that you’re totally enjoying it – the guy is incredible! Looking forward to great Airstream things ahead with Leigh, Brian, Campendium and Aluminarium!
Thanks again Dicky, for the great company, Lionel and a rocking Foo Fighters show last night!
Sorry! Lionel Richie or not, I’m too far into this solar-on-the-roof project on our Bounder to get rid of it for “aluminum”. Aluminum is NOT my friend right now since I’m presently, almost as this is written, hand-filing slots in “aluminum” brackets…32 of them. 🙁
Now,invite me to a back-stage with Shakira or Taylor Swift, and we might need to talk about round metal objects.
Sounds like you had unexpected FUN. Good on you.
