Surprise Visit

On Saturday when we made the turn to head north to Cody, WY I asked Brian “I wonder how much farther it would be to get to Teton View?”

Russ and Todd, two very dear friends of ours are camping there until Tuesday. After that, they’re on their way back to Georgia and plan to sell their fantastic Wanderlodge.

We couldn’t imagine being so close in proximity and not seeing them, so we I quickly consulted the GPS and we decided that we had to change our plans for the night.

As you can see, we were ecstatic to be back together. I just wish it was for more than a few hours.

2015 Cost of Camping:

86 night paid camping
133 nights free camping
219 days this year
Total spent: $1740.81

I cannot tell you how much it meant to us that you would drive so far off your path to see us. I still have not found my jaw- must be somewhere on the ground around here! The best part about the view is that you guys were in it – even if just for 1/2 day. xoxo

Gooo team! Free camping looking at the Tetons beats Cody any day. We have gone to the Antelope Flats one several times.
