Bernese Mountain Puppy

This is Abigail. I fell in love with her earlier this week, she’s travelling with in a motorhome. Her mom was 90 pounds (her birth mom, not her human mom), so she’s going to be a big girl when she grows up. Brian commented “she’s the kind of dog that makes you think you need to get a puppy.” Fortunately he didn’t really mean it.

Beautiful dog. Another good choice in that direction is the shorter-haired Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, or if both of those dogs are too big, the Entlebucher is the way to go.

I have an Entlebucher and she is a great travel companion. She hangs out in the Airstream if we can’t take her with us. Pictures of Maggie are featured throughout my Airstream blog. I highly recommend the breed.

You’re so right – I changed it to say birth mom, the mom that does all the work is her real mom!
