American Girl Mine

Last time we camped here, we didn’t get a chance to hike up to the old mine, so yesterday decided to go check it out. Pictured above is the view from the top. You can see the old mine in the foreground and you can barely see our trailer in the distance (toward the top of the photo in the middle). You can also see two other RV’s to our right.

We left Curtis at home. He hasn’t been up for the longer walks lately and he also doesn’t like walking on rocks.

Dinner Last Night:
Green Power Tower Salad. Everyone should try this salad. It’s delicious. Make sure to really chop the kale and chard, I think that’s part of what makes it so good.

Thanks – very yummy salad. I like to toast the garbanzo beans before adding (sprinkle with soy sauce, then 15-20 min @ 350F).

Hi Moira! I LOVE roasted garbanzo beans, though I eat them all before they ever make it to a salad!

I know! The texture reminds me a bit of chestnuts – pretty healthy snack actually.
