Corona Arch & Bowtie Arch

Yesterday we went on a very popular hike to the Corona Arch. Billed as a 3 mile hike that’s good for kids, we knew it was going to be busy.

A lot of people wanted to sit and eat lunch under the photo opp, lucky for me there’s photoshop.

On the way to the big arch we passed the smaller Bowtie Arch.

In addition to kids, we also saw a bunch of dogs, though we never did see how people handled getting their dogs up and down the ladder or the steep section pictured above.

Dinner Last Night:
Oh what a disappointment City Market in Moab is. It was pretty good in our location last week, but for some reason the Moab location didn’t have half of my list. Either the produce I wanted wasn’t organic, or they just didn’t have certain ingredients. Fortunately, we’re pretty stocked up, but we’ll be winging it most of the week. So last night we had left-over butternut squash and black bean tacos.

You should check out the Moonflower Market in Moab. A very nice store that might have the things City Market didn’t.

Yes, do check out the Moonflower Market. They had great greens when we were there. I was surprised at how much they had to offer. Lots of people doing all there shopping. You will love it.

But in City Markets defense…they have a Starbucks!!! Made me happy:)

Oh, I forgot…we loved the Corona Arch. We were there a few days after the fellow was killed trying to swing from it. Very sad.

I just read about that, what a horrible story.

X3 on Moonflower Market. When we did that hike with doggie she just ran right up the slick rock. It’s pretty sticky stuff and with her paws she had great traction. She got up there faster than we did 🙂
