Curtis & Friends

Another one of Curtie’s nicknames was Benedict Arnold. He never hid the fact that he would happily leave us for a new family. He was particularly fond of Kelly & Dave.

Curtie’s first real dog friend was Phineas. They were the same age and Phin let Curtie get the ball from time to time.

Our friend Ron has always had a deep love for Curtie, but then who could blame him.

Curtie met Maddie after she was a poor homeless pup on the street. At the time, Curtie wasn’t good with other dogs, but he sure was patient with Miss Maddie.

Again with the Benedict Arnold thing, or maybe he just really liked people.

Curtie grew to love his fellow-road dogs, and it seems that Moose was fond of Curtie’s breath.

When we lived on Lummi Island, our friend Scott referred to Curtis as the “Island Sentinel,” because he was always guarding us and our company.

Awww…so sweet to see him with all his buddies (especially our Phin). He really was such a lover boy 🙂 Thanks for posting all these great Curtis memories. It means a lot to all of us who knew him. Thinking of you both in this difficult time.
