This past week we spent camping outside of Washington D.C. at Cherry Hill Park. The campground location was very convenient for accessing the city.
We were joined for a few nights by Brian’s Mom, his Aunt Jan and their cousin Lynn. We went to the Museum of Natural History and really enjoyed the Hall of Geology, Gems, & Minerals.

That is my all time favorite section of this museum. Hope you have nice weather for you visit to DC:)
If you are still in the area, we have a private campground in the Pennsylvania woods you can hang out in for the weekend as our guests. Water, power and decent enough wifi. It’s about 20 miles northwest of Gettysburg.
Hi Robin, that sounds lovely! I wish we knew. We’ve already moved north. Thank you for the offer.
Too bad! Maybe another time. It’s open April – October. Very private and quiet as we currently only have 9 members and 22 sites. Are you going to Alumapalooza this year?
I wish!! We’ll be in the north east. 🙁
Always enjoy reading your blog. I know that you sometimes like to get podcast & TV show suggestions. Here are two both from the BBC, the podcast “IN OUR TIME” and is always very interesting. TV show is “THE MIGHTY BOOSH” there’s 20 episodes over 3 seasons, might be an acquired taste for some. Improves greatly with viewing, a bit too Brit in places. Shown on Hulu I think, parts of shows on YouTube.
Hi Paul, we DO love podcasts and TV! Thanks for the recommendations, We’ll be sure to check them out.
