Happy 2016!

Our two weeks camping off of Rockhouse Road was topped off by a pretty epic New Years Eve celebration.

borrego
Drea suggested that we burn some sort of symbol in effigy at the end of the night, and a wooden borrego was born.

pot-luck
We had another pot luck dinner. This time I made a much easier phyllo dough recipe, vegan spanakopita.

music
There was a DJ setup and karaoke.

fire
We found that a rectangle firepit was more efficient than the traditional circle.

more
There was about 7 hours to kill until midnight. Pictured, Tim, Kelly, Mike & Brian.

more-people
Shannon, Drea, Jase & Jessie.

scenic-ddd
Iain, Kate & Kerensa.

beer-people
The Roaming Pint meets Here for the Beer. Maria & Brian and Tim & Amy.

group
Gus, Skyler, Kurt, Heather, Chris & Todd.

burning-borrego
As the clock struck midnight, the borrego was lowered into the fire and with wishes for a happy new year.

Hmmm, seems like quite a dense crowd of people whose entire lifestyle is to avoid dense crowds of people…!
