This week I’m attending a really awesome Search Engine Optimization (SEO)/Online Marketing conference called Mozcon. I don’t really use any SEO techniques on this blog, though I’ll admit to optimizing for the phrase “airstream blog” or “airstream blogs.”

. . . and you will be passing on tips for all of your fellow bloggers???
Sure – Google + is extremely important (I barely use it with this blog, but I should if I was trying to optimize it). Links on G+ are are more important for SEO than links on FB or twitter.
You Tim – should have an author profile set up and linked to your blog. You should use an avatar on G+ that uses an actual photo of you. Google won’t recognize your authorship if it’s a graphic. (This was a big topic at last year’s Mozcon).

Assume this is hosted by Seattle company Moz? They are my nemesis. Sometime, I will tell you a funny job search story/experience I had with them (SEOMoz at the time) prior to accepting my job here in SFO.
Btw, assume you guys are loving the uber spaciousness of a hotel room? Only Full-timers would ever say such a thing. 🙂
Yes – SEOmoz, now Moz. I want to hear your story!
Our room is actually terrible. The mattress feels like it is 20 years old. We actually went and tested another mattress in another room and it was just as bad.
The upside is we’re in an awesome location.
