NOLA Vacation

Brian and I are totally in love with New Orleans, so when Tim & Kerri asked us to meet them there, we couldn’t resist.

This past Monday we flew from Orlando to NOLA and stayed in our first Airbnb (pictured above). The house was perfect. The bed was comfortable and the shower had fantastic water pressure.

Our days revolved around walking, eating and drinking. Highlights included: Shaya, Pascal’s Manale, Herbsaint, Cafe Amelie, Cure, Carousel Piano & Lounge, St. Roch Market and The Ruby Slipper Cafe.

Between activities we visited Moose and Byron back at French Quarter RV Resort. Both dogs can be really loud barkers.

We were so wiped out from walking during the day, we didn’t see much music aside from street performers. The night before we left, we finally managed to make it into a club.

Overall, we had a relaxing vacation and it was great to catch up with friends we hadn’t seen in over a year. Pictured above, another escape room victory.

I lived in NOLA back in the early 80’s. So cool to see Pasca’ls Manale still alive and kicking!
