Trail rides are one of my favorite ways to see a National Park, so for our last day at the North Rim, we woke up early and took a ride to Uncle Jim’s Point.
My mule was right behind our guide Dennis, so we chatted for most of the tour. He’s trying to decide between a career as an electrical engineer or chiropractor. What about cowboy?
Brian’s mule, Clyde was the crowd favorite, and he certainly seemed to like Brian.
*** Trail rides book early. I made our reservation 3 weeks ahead of time and out of the 2 different rides they offer (twice a day), during the 4 days that we would be there, there were very few time slots to choose from.
Dinner Last Night:
Dill Salad. I just used the salad dressing recipe and then tossed it with mixed greens, cucumber, red onion, sugar snap peas, tomato, chickpeas, and hemp seeds. Very tasty.
