With over 40% of campgrounds closed and shelter-in-place orders in effect, Marshall is coming to terms with putting the breaks on nomadic life and hanging out with us for the foreseeable future.

But rather than think about that too much, we have things to figure out. Like the internet. Maybe if we raise it higher…?

Shortly after that, one of us noticed that the antenna was moving quite a bit in the wind, and since the cell tower is REALLY far away, perhaps stabilizing it would help. Indeed it did, however, every now and then, it still craps out on us at which point we have to find a diversion.

Our evening hike is still a staple in our day, ranging from 1.5 to 4 miles.

Yikes! Yah this would be torture for me, unless I was in a good spot. I would need to move around. Plan on boondocking starting in about 4 years for the rest of my life.
Yeah – normally we don’t stick around places with bad internet, but life hasn’t been very normal these days!
