The Best Portobello Ever

I wasn’t going to post today, but have to share dinner last night because it was so good. Oh, and pictured above is the forest we’re camping in this week.

Dinner Last Night:
Portobello Philly Cheese Steak Bowl. By far the best portobello mushroom recipe I’ve ever made. The mushroom was fantastic. You can skip the rest of it (though everything combined was delicious).

2015 Cost of Camping:
57 night paid camping
44 nights free camping
101 days this year
Total spent: $771
Daily average cost: $7.63

This does sound yummy! We love portobello mushrooms and grilled veggies! I bet this would be great in a roll to mimic a real steak sandwich:)

Hi Pam – Yes, it would be great with a roll, though obviously you’d skip the grain. There was so much left over, we bought tortillas – I think it will make great tacos with some avocado slices.

I thought of you as always Gayle re: the number of ingredients – that’s one of the reasons I called out the mushroom, follow the mushroom recipe, you’ll love it!

    Hi Leigh,
Wow, that writer had a lot of Life Happenings going on!!

I have to ask… that is a BUNCH of ingredients (22 +/-). Denise says we don’t have room for all those if we want to have any clothes 🙂

It sounds pretty tasty and we love Portabellos. We will give this a try (or at least a variant).

Say hi to the mister for us.

Not a mushroom lover, but I like your photo. Looks like you “guys” are starting to meander north. I still dream about stealing your site up on the bluff with your living room looking straight out at the Tetons.
