Lake Mohave Boondocking

It had been over a year and a half since we last boondocked. I don’t count overnighting at Walmart, or dry camping at a campground, or even any of the moochdocking we did last year as boondocking. What I mean is, it had been 601 days since we last dispersed camped on public land!

This spot couldn’t have been more perfect (minus a few issues you can read about in my review). We were completely alone with no other RVs in sight and an incredible view.

It has been in the 90’s while we were here, so early in the week we cooled off in the lake. After the fact, we wondered what parasites might be lurking in the water, so we didn’t return for a second swim.

2017 Cost of Camping:
70 nights free camping
229 nights paid camping
299 days this year
Total spent on camping this year: $7687.21
Daily average cost of camping: $25.71
