After leaving the Grand Canyon, we went to Page AZ (big mistake). We already realized it would be too hot to stay for a week, so we cut our stay to 2 nights.
We got a full-hookup site at Wahweap Campground in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. It wasn’t cheap, but since Campendium had so many reviews at the other RV park in the area, I thought we should balance things out with a review of Wahweap.
It was 105 degrees when we arrived, and our single air conditioner can only bring the temperature down between 10 and 15 degrees. The evening wasn’t much better, so even though we paid for two nights, we only stayed for one and ran for the hills the next day.
Dinner Last Night:
Recently, I posted before the best portobello ever. Well, we may have an even better one. We’ve had it before, but perhaps because I let it marinate for over 2 hours, the portobello we had last night was crazy good. I skipped the burger fixings and served it with steamed broccolini and mashed potatoes. Yum.
