Camping at Trona Pinnacles

I’ve wanted to camp at Trona Pinnacles ever since Technomadia wrote their review on Campendium in 2015 and it didn’t disappoint.

We caravanned with our friends Brenda and Hector and when we arrived, they unhitched their car and we scouted the Pinnacles for a private campsite.

We found a great spot not too far from the main parking area. It had multiple fire rings and could easily fit multiple rigs.

There are so many different roads to explore, everyday we checked out different sections of the National Conservation Area.

2017 Cost of Camping:
113 nights free camping
236 nights paid camping
349 days this year – thru 12/16
Total spent on camping this year: $8152.21
Daily average cost of camping: $23.36

Nice that Hector and Brenda have a small unit to do these longer dirt roads. Looks like a beautiful spot!
