January

I haven’t blogged since January because I’ve been so busy with work, that when I’m not working, the last thing I want to do is look at the computer. I even stopped looking at Facebook, which has been really refreshing, though I have felt a little disconnected, so I may start checking in some on weekends.

Anyway. Brian and I just got back from a much needed vacation and are feeling refreshed, so I thought I’d do a series of posts with some of my favorite pics from the past five months.

We kicked off the New Year with some of our very favorite people and pets.

Tiff and Deke live in LA now, so they were able to camp with us a few times this year. First stop Joshua Tree South. A great free place to camp with cell service and easy access to the south entrance of Joshua Tree National Park.

Raffi came to visit me every day. Such a good boy.

During their visit I was going through a rough round of SIBO treatment and wasn’t up for baking, but wanted a dessert. It felt like a game of Password as I coached the guys through baking a batch of Allergy Friendly Gluten Free Dairy Free Cookies by naming off ingredients along with where to find them in the trailer.

One afternoon when I looked out the window, almost everyone outside was wearing a Campendium shirt, so I had to get a group photo.

Even though it was a tough month for my health, it was so good to be surrounded by friends and dogs like Bella.
