LA Weekend

Saturday we moved over to Dockweiler Beach RV Park. It’s a little noisy because it’s next to LAX, but the location is convenient for visiting our friends on this side of town. We got the only spot with an ocean view (site #1). The rest of the “front row” spots have their view blocked by the sand berm.

Saturday night we went out for dinner with our friends Liz, Greg and their baby Olivia. We were also joined by Mike and his new lady-friend Jill. (The only photo I got was this dark and grainy iphone pic).

aaronSunday Brian played geeky games with Aaron and the guys while I went for a pretty disappointing massage.

I have just finished reading your blog for 2013 and thoroughly enjoyed it. I am a bit of a photographer (I do understand the manual part of cameras) and YOU have some great images, in particular this one and the one of the rain through the window. Excellent work, and I have enjoyed the menus.

Do you use a pressure cooker at all? I have an immersion blender and will add that to the kit.

Thanks Vincent! I don’t use a pressure cooker. My mom always did and for some reason I missed learning how to use one in my cooking lessons growing up.
