Medicine Bow National Forest

We moved last night to a boondocking spot west of Cheyenne. I learned about it from Van Tramp’s blog and he confirmed cell service by email, though he failed to mention we would get 4G Verizon and 4G AT&T!!

Around 9:30 this morning a truck pulled up next to our trailer to let us know that a mama moose passed by us and walked off into the aspen. I’ll be opening the curtains first thing tomorrow to make sure I don’t miss any future moose shows.

Dinner Last Night:
I love trying new peanut noodle recipes, because they always vary just slightly. Last night I made Simple Asian Soy-Peanut Noodles, used just 1 tablespoon of peanut butter and tossed some fresh broccoli in with the udon noodles 2 minutes before they were doing boiling. Served with Sriracha and limes. It was great.

    Woot! Sorry I didn’t tell you about the 4G service… I only have a 3G device myself 🙂

4G out in the boonies!! LOVE IT!! I need to remember this place for when my wife and I get our airstream! Are there any other awesome boondocking places with awesome views and 4G that you’ve found?

I can’t remember how our cell service was at our last spot! We’re working on a way to share that kind of info and more. Hopefully within the next 6 months or so.
