Yesterday, we towed 3 hours west back out to the coast to Harris Beach State Park. Even though I booked our spot in January, we still weren’t able to get an ocean view site. Our spot in the B loop actually feels more private than the view spots and still has full hookups.

Looks like a lovely spot nestled amongst the lush vegetation….enjoy!
Thanks Ingrid! We are nestled in…I especially love how dark it is in the morning, good for sleeping past 5:30am!
We were in the B loop last week, too, in a very private site. That’s a nice park.
Are you heading north up the coast? Our favourite park was Carl G. Washburne Memorial State Park north of Florence.
Thanks John – it looks awesome, though from what I can tell it doesn’t look like there is any cell coverage there, and we need it to work during the week.
You are correct. No cell coverage, TV, radio or Wi-Fi when we were there last November. We drove to the Green Salmon Cafe in Yachats for internet access (great lattes made the trip worthwhile).

BTW – the ferry to Newfoundland is booked for July 4.
