Richardson Park

Our first two nights in the new Airstream we stayed at Richardson Park in Eugene Oregon. We actually didn’t intend to stay here. We had planned to stay at Armitage Park, but somehow I screwed up the reservation.

There isn’t any cell service at Richardson, but fortunately both Richardson and Armitage are in the same county park system so we were able to transfer on Monday.

Richardson was packed for the Labor Day weekend, and we were in site 44. You can see we didn’t have much of a view from our dinette. The sites are a little packed in, but the prime spots seem to be on the perimeter.

The main attraction at Richardson is Fern Ridge Lake boating and swimming. The water temperature while we were there was about 70 degrees.

Love the dinette view…I can picture you two with your computers, wonderful wide windows to give you space to see the outdoors, Curtie at your feet (you can see him testing it out in the pic)….I’m so happy for you guys….thanks for sharing your dream coming true! So uplifting and happy feeling (-; Life is good my friends!

Nice looking rig combo: The Flying Cloud and F-350!

Looks similar to our rig from this view point.

BTW, our Corgis enjoy riding in their own crates safely strapped on the folded-down rear seat in our F-250.
