Initially, we wanted to camp in between Port Townsend and Port Angeles, so we decided to check out Oak Bay County Park (pictured below).
If we stayed, we would be wedged between these trailers at $18/night with no hookups. There was also a $20/night section for partial hookups, but it was just as full.
We quickly evaluated our options, and decided to go to the Fairgrounds in Port Townsend (pictured at the top of the post). We didn’t expect it to be any less cramped, but for $20/night we have full hookups and are closer to town.

The full gravel site looks better at the fairgrounds. If you are going to pay anyway, why not get a few luxuries:)
Our favorite place around PT is Old Fort Townsend, south of town. State Park, though, might cost more…
We have good friends that live in PT. We love our visits there. It is so beautiful! Have a great 4th!!!
Thanks Jana! You too!
