I wasn’t looking forward to our spot this week because it’s at a casino. Usually casino camping is in a parking lot, under bright lights, and isn’t very scenic.
Most of the RV’s at Quinault Beach Resort & Casino are clustered together, near the entrance to the RV area. Maybe it’s either safety in numbers or they all just want to be as close as possible to the casino.
We chose a spot away from the others, backed up on a grassy area, with the ocean in the distance. For free dollars a night, we’re really quite happy here.
Dinner last night:
Butternut Bliss Fall Salad. The butternut squash at the grocery store was enormous, so I used an acorn squash instead. I also didn’t sautee the greens. It was delicious.
2015 Cost of Camping:
117 night paid camping
152 nights free camping
269 days this year
Total spent: $2266.99
Daily average cost: $8.43

We also stayed at Quinault’s Beach Resort & Casino RV parking for a couple of nights. Nice isolated spot at the end…quiet and peaceful and sites were huge. Enjoyed walking the huge beach…and we were alone. Definitely would stop there again when we return to Olympic National Park. Will share a review on Campendium.
Awesome!! Thank you! I agree – we love this place.
