Now that we’re back in the United States I can catch you up on our trip to Canada.
We spent Brian’s birthday wine tasting with those in our group that didn’t have kids.
When we returned to the campground, Bri was greeted with birthday signs and cards from the the MaliMish crew.
We topped off the day with a vegan chocolate cake, that was a ton of work but totally worth it.
2013 Cost of Camping:
I included the cost of Kelowna in my last post, so since then we’ve spent:
Glacier, Canada – $43 camping + $31.20 park fee
Banff – $107.90 camping + $58.80 park fee
Glacier, MT – $46
81 nights paid camping
164 nights free camping
245 days this year
Total spent on camping this year: $2,224.38
Daily average cost of camping: $9.08

Glad you are back safely:)
Everyone looks a little sunburned at the wine tasting!? Hope you had a good time with the group.
Good to see Brian had a nice birthday:) Happy Birthday, Brian!
It might be flushed faces from the wine – though we did get quite a bit of sun hiking 2 days before.
Looks like you had a terrific time. Welcome back to the States!
Wow, park fees in Canada are pricey. Which way are you headed next?
Hi FerryTrails, if you buy an annual pass it isn’t so bad, but we weren’t going to be there enough days to make it worth buying. Right now we’re in Glacier MT, then we’re going to hit Yellowstone and Grand Tetons!
Glad you’re back! I needed my Aluminarium fixes.
