I’ve been so busy working, that blogging has been the last thing I want to do with my free time. But here I find myself, writing my first post in months. From Hawaii.
We’re spending the next 6 weeks scouting campgrounds on four islands for Campendium. There isn’t any RV camping, but there is a lot of tent camping, and the site currently doesn’t have any photos and is missing a lot of information.
Our first morning in Kailua, we went to the farmers market where we bought some rambuten fruit. I had seen them in the grocery store on the mainland but had never tried them. We ended up buying a bunch and they taste great – similar to a grape.
After the farmers market, we hiked the Moanalua/Kamananui Valley Trail. It’s 2.8 miles one way, and relatively flat which makes my joints happy.
This is our home for the week. Maybe I’ll write another blog post one of these days. 🙂
