Back on Lummi

For two years prior to moving into our current Airstream, we lived on Lummi Island off the coast of Bellingham, WA. Yesterday, we returned for a holiday weekend of socializing.

There aren’t any campgrounds on the island, and as you enter the private community on the south east side of the island, there’s even a sign banning recreational vehicles.

Lucky for us, we’re friends with the President of the Homeowners Association.

We had no idea you were on Lummi. We just spend the day riding around on Lummi today taking in the local art tour and having an amazing day meeting with some beautiful artists. We couldn’t get enough of the sweet apples and pears we found all over the island which added to our delicious lunch on the beach. How long will you all be in WA?

That’s so random!! On Tuesday we’re in Seattle for a week and a half camping in a friend’s driveway (while I’m in Chicago for work) and then we head to Port Angeles for the last 2 weeks of September. Let me know if there’s any crossover in plans!
