Teaching Kids to Gamble

On Sunday we had brunch with our friend’s Cat and Robb. Last time we were together, we taught the kids how play poker. We seemed to have made an impression on them because when they heard we were coming to visit again, they insisted we play again.

Brian was paired off with Jack, who like his partner is an aggressive and unpredictable player who loves the action.

Avery also wanted to be in every hand, but I eventually managed to convince her to protect her “chip towers.”

Cat and Robb gave a few hands away to the kids, but when they were heads up it was cut-throat. Ok, not really. 😉
